Formative Structures is a Houston-based general contracting company that specializes in a broad bandwidth of commercial construction. Since our establishment in 2017, we have successfully delivered several multiphase projects from land purchase and preconstruction through sale, opening, and usage of the buildings. Throughout our projects, we have built strong partnerships and collaborations with owners, developers, architects, and contractors. These relationships provide us with an advantage to preempt and prepare for any potential long-term issues, resulting in more sustainable and functional projects. We pride ourselves in delivering well thought out projects that meet our client’s needs while providing a vast array of transparency through the building process.

Formative Structures was established with a mission to provide premium commercial construction services with transparency while providing a high trust factor to the client. These goals are long held visions of the managing member and president, Jordan Green. The company started its operations with an all-inclusive, comprehensive process design for each project coupled with our full-service, “from concept to delivery” construction approach. This approach ensures our partners that the projects they have entrusted us to build are of the highest importance to each team member throughout the duration of the entire process. We recognize and understand from the onset that we are not just constructing buildings but projects that represent a dream, an inspiration, or a sense of purpose to our client. By the very definition of the company’s name, we believe the ideas and principles represented inside the building are often as important as the structure itself.

SAFETY is our top priority
Formative Structures was developed with the aim of providing the highest standards of workmanship, execution, and professionalism. An integral part of our philosophy is to create the safest possible work environment for our valued staff. We use certified safety equipment and follow strict safety protocols. Our professionals are required to go through mandatory safety training inclusive of continued OSHA, heavy and light equipment licenses, CPR, and AED certifications.
Over the years we have developed, implemented, perfected, and consolidated our safety protocols. From having a well-oiled practice of daily/weekly scheduled safety meetings, as well as surprise inspections and equipment inspections from our in-house safety coordinator. We constantly strive to always keep all our workers and workplaces safe. Our superintendents and contractors have been trained to manage the site at the highest level of safety possible.
